AUTOTRADER/SUZUKI/JGRMX KYLE CUNNINGHAM TO SUBSTITUTE FOR MATT BISCEGLIA

March 7, 2017

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (March 7, 2017) – Matt Bisceglia injured his foot prior to the start of the 2017 racing season, and Kyle Peters was recruited to substitute for Bisceglia as he recovered.  Bisceglia was only expected to miss a round or two of the 250SX East Series but suffered a tib/fib fracture just as he was preparing to return to racing.  As a result, Peters raced a third round with the team last week in Toronto, but now has to travel to Australia to contest the Australian Motocross National Championship, to which he was committed before he began to substitute for Bisceglia.  The Autotrader/Suzuki/JGRMX Team thanks the Australian Wilson’s Coolair Factory Suzuki Team and Kyle Peters for their help.

Kyle Cunningham will now substitute for Bisceglia through the remaining rounds of the 250SX East Series starting this weekend in Daytona.  Cunningham, who started racing when he was six years old is a veteran of the pro ranks in his tenth season, often racing at his own expense.  “I actually rode my own 450 this week thinking I would race it in Daytona, so getting the call from Jeremy (Jeremy Albrecht is the Autotrader/Suzuki/Yoshimura Team manager) asking me to ride the factory bike was great news,” said Cunningham.

Cunningham will debut his RM-Z250 this Saturday, March 11 at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Fla.  His racing number is 42.  Fox Sports Two will broadcast the event live starting at 7:00 p.m. (EST).
