HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (March 20, 2017) – Round 11 of the 2017 Monster Energy AMA

Supercross Championship was held in Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind. The event was the first of three live Fox broadcasts this season. 60,216 fans braved the cold temperatures to watch the action.

Jake Weimer continues to substitute for Weston Peick while he recovers from injury, and Kyle Cunningham is riding for the recently re-injured Matt Bisceglia in the 250SX East Series.

Justin Barcia and Weimer each transferred to the Main Event through Semi Two. Barcia and Weimer both had challenging starts in the main, logging in 15th and 19th on the first lap. Barcia was able to improve to finish 100th , with Weimer 16th at the checkers.

In the 250 SX East Class Cunningham transferred to the Main Event through Heat Race One. Cunningham also suffered a bad Main Event start, beginning the race in 18th . He advanced to 11th at the finish.

Ford Field in Detroit, Mich. will host round 12 of the series on March 25. Fox Sports One will air the race live starting at 7:00 p.m. (EST).
